Chris Keenan

  • Only player to play in two NCAA Division I National Championship games for two different teams
    (Indiana University 1984 & San Diego State University 1987).
  • Played on 1984 Indiana University team that still hold NCAA Div 1 unbeaten streak at 43 games.
  • Captained Indiana University (1986) for the NCAA’s winningest soccer coach Jerry Yeagley.
  • 1987 Hermann trophy finalist (College Soccer’s National Player of the Year).
  • 14th overall pick in the 1988 Professional Draft (San Diego Sockers).
  • Played professionally for the San Diego Nomads and Detroit Rockers.
  • Age of 28 was the youngest professional head coach in the United States (Detroit Neon at the Palace of Auburn Hills).
  • Detroit Rockers TV color commentator 1992 on what is now Fox Sports Detroit
  • Coached at the highest levels of US Soccer including professional, NCAA Division I, and National Olympic Development programs.

Playing for four years at Lasalle University and became a Lasalle University Hall of Fame Inductee.

  • Head Coach of the Homestead High School Boys Team from 1994 through 2000
  • Ranked in the top five in the state for three years, top twenty for three years
  • Conference Champions for 6 years in a row
  • State Semi finalist in 1999
  • Head Coach of Fort Wayne Fever PDL Team-WLG Team 2003-2009
  • Current Director of Coaching for The Fort Wayne Fever Academy
  • As Club Coach, won 3 State Championships, and a Regional Finalist
